The source of the data is diverse and includes: web pages of the Central Electoral Bureaus (BEC), information obtained through FOIA from the Permanent Electoral Authority and lists of candidates published by the media. Given that not all BEC web pages are accessible anymore, we also used Web Archive tools to access data. In the case of the 2008 local elections, the data is partial.
