EFOR is currently the Civil Society Pillar Focal Point in Romania for Community of Democracies (CoD), an intergovernmental organization. In this capacity we assisted CoD in its internal reflection about democratic stability and resilience. Sorin Ioniţă authored the 2020 report for the Governing Council al CoD. It includes a state-of-the-art in the debate on democratic backlash and the rise of hybrid, illiberal regimes; plus three case studies: The Gambia, Mali and Armenia.
