Expert Forum is a Romanian Think-Tank well known for its anti-corruption programs, good governance, and civic engagement projects.
We are a registered Romanian nonprofit organization, fully transparent and active for more than ten years.
Our focus in this conflict is to help our Ukrainian neighbors. We are sending essential supplies directly to Ukraine with the help of our institutional contacts/organizations in Ukraine. We are also in contact with Romanian authorities and NGOs and in close contact with the Ukrainian Embassy in Romania.
To this point, we managed to send essential supplies such as first aid medicines, food, and other products aimed to help the civilians in Ukraine. We have also helped the refugees in Romania by providing transport to Bucharest and supplying food, hygiene products, and more, with the help of our regional partners.
Expert Forum collects donations to provide assistance to Ukrainian citizens. We will use the funds to provide transportation, basic materials and other services that will be needed. To the extent possible, we will prioritize the refugees and the rest of civilian population inside Ukraine, because it is there where the need is most stringent.
Our work so far

- We are an old partner of the Civic Resource Centre, an NGO dedicated to assuring refugees a warm and safe welcome to Romania. They are present every day at the Isaccea border. We help them with financial resources in the transportation process and respond to urgent requests.

- We learned that the central needs of the civilian population in Ukraine are medicine and food. We are getting more and more lists with urgent products for survival from our Ukrainian neighbors every day. Our resources are limited, but we constantly try to find a way. In the photo, you can see another medicine transport directly to Ukraine.

- We help refugees arriving at the Isaccea border, one of Romania’s borders with Ukraine. We provide transport, essential products and accommodation. We have a case-by-case approach, and we have even helped with visa issues for non-EU countries and transport from Bucharest to the airport.

- We provide essential products, food, and medicine to the Tulcea Wearhouse. Afterward, we discuss with local organizations and institutions in Ukraine and send them the needed supplies in this war situation.

- We are in contact with local NGOs and institutions in Ukraine. We have sent medicines and survival supplies directly to them in critical situations. We have coordinated the whole process, from the discussions with the Romanian authorities, buying the products, and paying for transport to Ukraine.

- We have sent baby formula, food, and hygiene products to an orphanage in Cernăuți, Ukraine.
