RomânăExpert Forum is proud to announce that our Executive Director, Laura Ștefan, has been appointed to the External Evaluation Commission for Prosecutors in the Republic of Moldova. The appointment was approved by the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova during its plenary session on July 10, 2025.
Laura Ștefan stated:
“I have been appointed by the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, upon the recommendation of the European Commission, to the vetting commission for prosecutors. It is an appointment that honors me, and I will do everything in my power to help build an efficient and integrity-based judicial system — one that the citizens of Moldova deserve and have long awaited.”
This appointment is a recognition of Laura Ștefan’s 20+ years of work in the field of rule of law and anti-corruption, as well as her contributions as an expert for international institutions such as the European Commission, the World Bank, and the Council of Europe.
