Maria Cezar

Maria has been working with Expert Forum since the beginning of 2019 on projects focused on informal education, civic engagement and active citizenship. Maria is actively involved in EFOR’s School for Democracy programme, working with teachers in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, supporting them in implementing activities aimed at engaging students and their communities in active citizenship exercises. Since 2020 she is part of the coordination team of the Let’s talk about YOU(th)! programme for young people in Romania and the Republic of Moldova. Within the LTY programme EFOR supports students to make their voices heard on issues important to them and their community. 

She was an intern for the German Marshall Fund of the US, the Bucharest office and active in the European Youth Parliament Romania for five years, being the National Coordinator for two of those years. She is an Alumna in Aspire, graduating the Aspire Academy 2017 programme and was envolved in their organising team. 

She holds a Bachelor Degree in International Relations and European Studies and a Masters Degree in International Public Affairs at the University of Bucharest.
