The story of the School for Democracy 2017

The School for Democracy is an Expert Forum program that aims to create an innovative learning environment for teachers who want to discover alternative and effective tools for active education and involvement of young people.

The School for Democracy includes a training seminar, which took place in Brasov between 4 and 9 March 2017. In May and April we support the implementation of civic projects in the schools and communities from where the 18 teachers come from in the Republic of Moldova and Romania.

Among the themes we tackle include:

Non-formal learning methods
Leadership
Fundamental concepts: Democracy and the rule of law, good governance, populism, clientelism, public participation, active citizenship
Public policies and advocacy mechanisms
Writing and implementing projects, dissemination of results and best practices
