During the 5 days consisting of non-formal activities and meetings with experts we will approach key concepts (democracy, rule of law and good governance) through alternative learning instruments. After the event we will support teachers to replicate the information in their schools and to get students involved in the activities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The application must contain:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A resume<\/li>\n<li>the application form<\/li>\n<li>an essay of maximum 2 pages that will describe a civic project which could improve things in your school or community; please mention how the students in your community could be involved in this process<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Send us your application in Romanian by <strong>1<sup>st<\/sup> July 2015, 23:59.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The selection process will consist of the following steps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>preselection of written applications: 1<sup>st<\/sup> -8<sup>th<\/sup> July 2015<\/li>\n<li>Skype interviews for final selection: 8<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 20<sup>th<\/sup> July 2015<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The final results will be published on 27<sup>th<\/sup> July 2015<\/p>\n<p>Both (pre)selected and rejected candidates will be informed by e-mail.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Useful documents (RO)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/expertforum.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Formular-de-inscriere-1.docx\">Application Form<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the School for Democracy?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An integrated 5 day program in which we will focus on innovative ways of teaching, inspired from non-formal education through which students could develop their interest for the community<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the teachers to implement replication events in schools<\/li>\n<li>Participation is free, we will cover the costs with training, meals and accommodation materials in Sinaia, as well as the equivalent of maximum 200 RON for transportation costs (car, bus or train \u2013 2<sup>nd<\/sup> class).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em><sup>1<\/sup>Teachers for the V-XII grades courses which are included in the category \u201cCurriculum at the School\u2019s Decision\u201d, \u201cMan and Society\u201d branch; for example: Human Rights, Humanitarian Law, Civic Education, etc.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Project financed by the EEA grants 2009\u20132014, through the NGO Fund in Romania.The contents of this material does not necessarily represent the official stand of SEE grants 2009 \u2013 2014 .
