The National Agency for the Management of Seized Assets (ANABI) in partnership with Expert Forum in Romania hosted an online public discussion on the topic of “Effective asset recovery of the proceeds of crime through measures to consolidate and develop the National Agency for the Management of Seized Assets” on the 23rd of February 2021. The discussions were intended at feeding into the Romanian policy process with the overall goal of improving performance in asset recovery and it resulted in a report which resumes the main ideas presented by the speakers, as well and the progress made and the remaining challenges for ANABI.
