ENERGY: Liberalization with a human touch, or how should the government avoid being electrocuted, Bulgarian style

It’s time to learn from others’ mistakes: sooner or later, energy reform should be done and completed. Sooner and cogently is preferable to later on with oversized costs. See how is to be done in the report attached here (Romanian only): Pol-Brief-20

Given that energy is a sensitive subject, price increases can overthrow a government. We are about to increase energy prices (or else, experience a blackout in the medium run). Is a Balkan Spring to be expected as a result of energy policies? Maybe. Do we have any alternative? Yes, a reasonable reform, if we finally take out from the drawer the excellent report REP3.

Support us: We have to make government more transparent and rational, by showing that we understand what they do and react when they are wrong. Get involved, contribute and support this effort.
